Playability Changes In Version 2.00

In a 2 player game there is a limit on the number of Invasion crafts that you can buy during the course of the game. This was requested by a few players that play onlne quite a bit. It is designed to reduce the over powered nature of the Invasion Craft and force player to protect them with a naval force, thus increasing navla combatRoto12/11/2003 5:24:27 AM

Clarification on land units attacking from transports. A land unit in a transport cannot attack any other unit, whether it be a enenmy land, air or sea unit, if that enemy unit is also at sea. Thus a tank on a tranny cannot attack an air unit that is in a sea space, but the tank on the tranny could attack the air unit if the enemy air unit was on land.Roto10/29/2003 12:43:25 PM
I like the increased patriot failure rate. This will make a 'cap kill strategy' more successful. For me, the strength of Warbucs is that you can pursue various strategies, not just expansion.10/29/2003 12:28:06 PM
What about air units? A loaded Inv craft shouldn't be allowed to attack them either. I like the idea of Patriots not being such a sure thing. I think that will make whether or not to use nukes a much more difficult decision.10/29/2003 12:26:51 PM

I don't let land units in a water space attack enemy units that are in a water space. Before an Invasion craft could take down a battleship this way, now transports must drop of their cargo before it can attack.Roto10/27/2003 6:15:09 PM
I increased the failure rate of patriots. Nukes get through more often. Its possible they get through too often, this needs to be tested.Roto10/27/2003 6:13:12 PM
